Airshed Systems is a specialized environmental services company. We provide reliable, field-tested, industrial solutions for designing, deploying and operating air quality monitoring networks. Air monitoring is ultimately the collection of scientifically credible data and Airshed Systems provides data management solutions to ensure air quality data is collected, validated, distributed and archived in accordance with regulatory requirements. Through our multi-year engagement contract to the Wood Buffalo Environmental Association our team has advanced and refined the methods of air quality monitoring. The Wood Buffalo Environmental Association is the multi-stakeholder organization responsible for monitoring the single largest airshed in the Canada, the oilsands region surrounding Ft. McMurray in Northern Alberta. The oilsands region is one of the most contentious and scrutinized areas of industrial development in North America, perhaps the world. Our approach to air quality monitoring solutions goes beyond client engagement at the requirements level. We consult with our clients to understand their operational, scientific and regulatory challenges to design systems that effectively address the immediate requirements while providing the flexibility to meet long-term strategic plans.
